When we first came to Marathon Marina in 2001, this restaurant was a raw bar and hamburger place. The next time we were here it was closed. This time, as we came in one of the first things we saw as we came in the channel was this restaurant. We ate here the first night because we were too tired to go anywhere else.

Our daughter gave us a $50 gift certificate for dinner here, and we went and the meal was a bit over $50 without the tip.

When we walked in on the President's Day holiday, they said they couldn't take us even though we could see empty tables, so we went somewhere else. The next day we returned really early, and were seated but the table next to us was empty all evening while they were telling people that there were no seats. They had a heater, but it ran out of propane so some folks were a little chilly. I had a sweater and Bob had a coat so we were OK.

Favorite Dish: Bob had a house salad side ($2.95) and a half pound of peel and eat shrimp for $7.95.

I had a rack of bbq ribs ($18.95) which came with a salad (I had caesar) and vegetables (julienne squash and carrots) and bread and creme brulee ($4.95). The total including tip came to $47.64.

This last time, the bill was $38.09 for chicken pasta ($10.95), a burger ($7.95), iced tea and a chocolate creme brulee ($7.95).

In the picture, the main photo is the entrance from the parking lot. Upper right is the sign out on US #1at sunset -there's a dophin in Xmas lights that's barely visible near the sign.

On the left bottom is the view from the dining area out over the water also at sunset. Bottom center is my rack of ribs with Bob's peel and eat shrimp in the background, and center right is the creme brulee which came with a little stainless pot of raspberry jam.
