History : King Rama IV ordered to construct a summer palace and temple on 3 mountains. The construction was completed in the year 1860. Almost buildings built in Neo-classic of Western style mixed with Chinese style & Thai style. The royal called Phra Nakhon Khiri but locals called Khao Wang.

The Eastern Peak : Wat Phra Kaew . The royal temple as the Emerald Buddha temple in Bangkok. Composed of the ordination hall (Ubosot), Chedi amd small halls.
The Middle Peak (Maha Sawan mountain) : Situated a huge chedi housed the great relics of Buddha.
The Western Peak : Situated the palace consisted of many building even gates and fortress. The main building ‘re – Phetphum Phairot Hall used as audience hall and changed to be a temporary residential for the state guests from Germany in the reign of King Rama V. Pramot Mahaisawan Hall was the bedroom of the King.
Nowaday , the palace buildings ‘s the Phra Nakhon Khiri National museum collected all artifacts which found in this area.

The Park Open daily from 8.30-16.30 hrs.
Admission fee : 40 Baht

But you can walk up the mountain by ladder . Have a meeting with a big group of monkeys and take a look on Phetburi scenic.

Directions: Very easy to visit. Go to Phetburi and easy to notice the location . There ‘re some car park and entrances. Ask for cable or walk path.
