Also known as the Old, the Remuh Cemetery, established in 1551, is one of the oldest cemeteries in Europe. Devastated during Germna nazi occupation and changed for refuse dump. Only 10-20 graves (in this number matzeva of rabbi Moses Isserles) remained war. In 1959 started program of renovation cemetery. Its effect was discover and re-standing about 700 parts of graves (many of them are at the fence).
