When visiting New York you should see Times Square both in day and in the evening. Its always busy and always exciting. But there is a change in feeling from the day to the evening. Its hard to explain. You will need to experience it to understand. In the evening when the neon lights brighten up the sky Times Square takes on a magical look and feeling. After experiencing the crowds here on a typical day I can not imagine what it must be like on New Years Eve when the streets are literally filled with millions of people. I think I would be a little overwhelmed.
