Clock tower is also known as Sahat Kula. It is located in the north-west part of Kalemegdan, close to Victor monument on one, and Military Museum on the other side. In the second half of the 18th century, this tower with a clock was raised up above the South Gate of Upper Town. The Turks have used it as a watchtower, because the whole Belgrade town of that time could be seen from the top of this tower.
