"No Ink !..." Italy Warnings Or Dangers Tip by coceng

Italy Warnings and Dangers: 204 reviews and 133 photos

This happened to me in Rome...
Taking the local city buses doing my sightseeings...Bought those Day Tickets...
We have to stamp them right, when we are boarding the buses...but the machines on many buses are changed irregularly hence the ink of the date/time stamps might NOT be visible !
The bus inspectors might check your tickets, so if he couldn't see the date/time stamps, he would make a big chaos of that ! Ask you to pay fine etc...
My advise, if when the first time you stamp the ticket, the date/time are not visible on your ticket, then tell that to the passengers sitting/standing next to you....
At least you have somebody/some people who know & could see that you DO stamp your ticket before your ticket is being inspected by those inspectors...
