The incredible food in Playa never lets you go hungry. But one day, we were just in the mood for something that screamed home. It was so bad that we even bought a hot dog at the Pemex station. One bite...bad move.
The we found what we craved at Lol Ha at Akumal Beach.

Favorite Dish: These hamburgers were to DIE for. Stuffed with chilies and cheese and served with great fries. You may never crave a hamburger on vacation, but if you do, this is the place.
We went for lunch and stayed the whole afternoon. They make it easy as the huge palapa is right on the sand. Tables on the sand, and even chairs you can lounge in with a nice cold beer or pina colada. There was a storm threatening and at times, appearing, so we'd all just grab our plates, take them to the bar...wait 5 minutes for the sun, and resume postions on the sand.
