Denton Things to Do: 30 reviews and 45 photos

The library is an impressive building surrounded by trees on the landscaped grounds of the Texas Women's University where formerly Dormitory Row stood. The building was named after the first female president of TWU, Dr. Mary Evelyn Blagg-Huey. Within the library is the Woman's Collection, which is a major research collection on the history of American women.
There is also the University Archives, which contains historical information about TWU, Denton and notable women, also one of the largest cookbook collections in the country - including some books that date back to the 1600s and the Women Air force Service Pilots (WASP) archives.

Address: Texas Women's University, Bell Avenue
