Favorite thing: I often take the boat out on the lakes. Only fishing boats are allowed on the lakes, (with the exception of a water bus ~ 60 seats). This means that it can be nice and quiet while on the boat. The pocture below shows Torc mountain taken on the boat on the Muckross side of the Ross peninsula.
