"Stare Mesto" Old-Town Square Tip by biggeorge

Old-Town Square, Prague: 265 reviews and 497 photos

Centre of town, big enough to disperse the clouds of tourists. Features the Jan Hus monument which is impressive and the astronomical clock which is the best place to get your wallet nicked while you're gaping at it.
Also the site of the " defenestration of prague" where they threw someone out of a window.
Around the square are a load of wanky cafes that are overpriced and an Irish pub that makes up for its total lack of character by charging you London prices ,but it's walking distance from Bar Le Chateau and the Roxy.
