"Nose Hill Park is the largest..." Calgary Off The Beaten Path Tip by spartan

Calgary Off The Beaten Path: 72 reviews and 82 photos

Nose Hill Park is the largest natural area urban park in Canada, covering approximately 2700 acres in north central Calgary (bounded by Shaganappi Trail on the west, Berkshire Blvd. on the north, 14th Street NW on the east side and John Laurie Blvd. on the south side). It offers a unique prairie grassland environment and a ready escape from the pressures of the modern city. You can hike, bike, jog, walk your dog, meet other people or just enjoy the quiet solitude and scenery which the park has to offer.
