  grave of Job
by sachara

In the mountains north-west of Salalah we visited the tomb of Job or in arabic of Nabi Ayoub (prophet Job). The tomb lies on a hilltop overlooking the area of Salalah.
The mosque and the tomb are lying in a beautifull garden. From the parkinglot the path first pass a mosque at the lefthand side and ends at the the small white building with a gold-coloured dome.
The tomb is accesible for everyone, but shoes must be removed.
The mosque is not accessible for non-muslims like all mosques in Oman.

The tomb is open the whole day and there is no admission fee.

Directions: 30 KM north-west of Salalah, look out for the sign ''Nabi Ayoub'' to the left.
