A solemn prayer in front of her god

Temple parks are a good and cheap way to spend an afternoon. They cost only Y1 to enter. There are QINGYANG GONG, a Taoist temple and WENSHU YUAN, a Buddhist temple.

The parks have a section where old folks gather around to play ?mahjong? (a kind of tile-games for four) and another section for the tea area : a huge shady ground with many bamboo chairs and low tables.

Locals are sitting there, chatting and sipping their tea all day long. Waiters make their rounds continuously to refill your cup. Great place to people-watch.
