Magnolia's: "Best Southern Cuisine" Magnolia's Tip by yahoo115
Magnolia's, Charleston: 5 reviews and 4 photos
The restaurant is formal, yet relaxing. Just about anywhere in downtown Charleston you'll see a variety of people, and this place is no exception - you can see one couple in formal wear, dining before a cocktail party, and another in khaki shorts and a polo, just taking a break from sight-seeing. Be sure to call ahead for reservations during holiday weekends or special events times (Spoleto, bridge-run, etc)
Favorite Dish: Mocha Creme Brulee - the to die for dessert. All the entrees, desserts and appetizers are mouth-watering and become your favorites. They have an excellent wine selection, including ports and dessert drinks. The filet mignon is the tastiest and most tender I've ever had. The pork loin is full of flavor. The spring rolls appetizer is a must.
