char koay teow is what this is call and it's one of the many local favourites that I enjoy. there's many place where you can try this meal but so far, the best that I've taken is actually the street behind Jalan Alor. It's a corner shoplot opposite Park Inn Hotel. One plate would cost you about RM3.50 - also depending on the outlet. If you go by to a hotel to have a plate of char koay teow, the price is of course more expensive !

Favorite Dish: rice noodles fried with chili and soya sauce, cockles, beansprout, egg and sometimes Chinese sausage

Address: any chinese food outlets
Price Comparison: least expensive
Price: less than US$10
