At the outskirts of the Sao Vicente village, directly next to the sea and the road along the north coast, is a big boulder in which the Sao Vicente chapel has been built. The chapel is just beside the bridge with four bows, so you can't miss it. The chapel is built in 1696. Here the women prayed, when their husbands and sons went out to sea for fishing. In the tiny interior in a niche of the altar you can find a statue of Vicente.
After the first time in 2003 we visited this place, there are some changes. The chapel is still there, but there is a new bridge.
Directions: North of Sao Vicente near the bridge.
