Favorite thing: Take in the scenery, gamble, visit the hotels. But most importantly, get a map of the area and bring a good pair of walking shoes!
Fondest memory: Red Rock Canyon (about 30 minutes west of the city), Hoover Dam and Lake Mead (about 30 to 40 minutes southeast of the city) as well as Las Vegas at night; totally awesome sites.
