Information / Sources, Dallas: 6 reviews and 5 photos

The very first store was originally opened in Oak Cliff, Dallas (corner of Edgefield and 12th) in 1922 . An resourceful employee of the Southland Ice Company decided to start selling eggs and milk on Sundays and evenings at a time when other stores had closed for the day. The original name given to the store was Tote'm which was then changed in 1946 to 7-Eleven which related to the stores operating hours.
