Extremely friendly welcome at this well run guest lodge (former farm with huge acreage).

Food is tasty and well-prepared, but not fussy. Excellent range of local wines.

Wide range of activities including several marked paths in the surrounding hills and deep canyons with a chance to spot local wildlife (eg kudu), or trips to Sossusvlei with expert information from Rob.

Unique Qualities: The quality of the staff. Not only the hosts, Rob and Marianne, but their team of people.

The location - tranquil, with endless acres of safe mountains and canyons to explore.

The guiding from Rob, especially at Sossusvlei. If you want to know when and where to point your camera, Rob is superb.
The main canyon has been the scene of many digs and some of the oldest fossils in the world are to be found here.
