The Wawel Cathedral was built in 1320-1364 in Gothic style. It was built of stones and bricks with one nave and two aisles.

Then there were many other elements added, a lot of chapels (18) around especially - two of them you can see on my picture. This one on right was famous Sigismun Chapel. It's dome was renovated when I visited it last time in October 2003.

Directions: From SE corner of the Main Market Square go souhwards Grodzka Street (aprox. 20 min.), at the end turn right ---> the entrance: walk right up to the hill.
