Color surrounds you at The Flower Fields
by Ed_G

This is a "must see" while visiting the San Diego area in the spring. Opening in the middle of March the blooming giant Tecolote Ranunculus are a colorful sight to see. In rainbow bands of color, they streach out over 50 acres and offer a relaxing quiet walk.
There is also a rose garden to walk around taking in the fragrent smells of all the different rose blooms.
Want to take home some memories with you? They offer a large assortment of bulbs and starter plants to choose from in a well stocked and nicely laid out gift store.
If you visit in the late afternoon-early evening you can take in a beautiful California sunset from the higher walkways of the fields.
