Rose Festival, Portland: 7 reviews and 17 photos
The Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade is the peak parade of the Rose Festival. This is the Saturday morning parade where all the floats are made from roses and other flowers, and many feature complex animation.
After the Grand Floral Parade, the floats are put on display. During some years, this has been near the Lloyd Center shopping center. During other years it has also been at the Rose Garden Arena (please note that the Rose Garden Arena is nowhere near the actual Portland Rose Garden - and don't expect to see any roses there - Its mostly concrete).
This public float display is a good way to see the work done on the floats up close. If you didn't get a chance to see the parade, it also lets you see a small portion of what was in the parade.
Address: varies from year to year
Directions: usually near downtown Portland, but depends on the year
