If at all possible I would urge you to either be on a cruise ship or at least take a ferry between Tangier and a European port. If you do this on a clear day then you will be afforded the pleasure of being able to witness the European landmass separated from the African landmass by the azure waters of the fabled Mediterranean Sea.

On the list of things to do in your life, it is right on up there as a unique experience.

I am sorry that my shot of this amazing view is so hazy. It was really a clear and calm day but my digital camera simply does not have the oomph to zoom in which would have made this a top rated picture. Enjoy what you can of it, however, as it was an amazing sight. I was shooting looking east so Europe is on the left and Africa is on the right.
