  Schönbrunn Palace

The former imperial summer residence of the Habsburgs, with its numerous attractions, is worth a long visit: about 40 imperial apartments bear witness to the splendor of court life during the era of Empress Maria Theresia. Those who admire Austria's Empress 'Sissi' will find a great many mementos in the rooms in which she once lived. Only a few steps from the palace, the Imperial Coach Collection exhibits the
Coronation Coach.

Take a stroll in the huge Palace Park, where you can also find the Palmenhaus and the Gloriette.
