The attraction of the Durbar Square for me was the mixture of all the different buildings, temples, and all the activity. At every square meter was something to see or was something happening. Most of the buildings are very old, so it's like being in the Middle Ages, but many buildings were rebuilt after the earthquake of 1934, not all in their original form.
Around the square were always a lot of people walking, sitting or trading, like these men with their bikes and baskets full of fruits.
