Favorite thing: On the rise above the town there dominates a baroque church with a belfry and a baptistery. The slope with its church complex was strengthened with flying buttresses, built gradually from the mid-17th to the early 19th centuries. The Baroque hall church began to be built after 1595 in the place of the older Gothic church hallowed in 1344. The church was completed and rehallowed in 1637.

Fondest memory: The western facade was built as a temple front with pilaster jointing and triangular gable, clearly influenced by the Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio.
The rich Baroque fittings of St. George's Church are supplemented by the Baroque organ built in 1746 by master Petar Nakic, a native of Dalmatia and one of the most important Venetian organ builders.
