In Kathmandu, the lodgings are just average. In the jungle, the individual huts on stilts are clean and neat, but you need a flashlight for each of the members you are with. They supply two lanterns. Very, very interesting. In Pokhara the lodgings are the best of all, but they are on a physical island in the middle of a sea of squalor.

Unique Qualities: Elephant treks and even a walking trek to track rhinos.

Directions: Nothing special at the Everest Hotel in Kathmandu. Nepal is a 4th world country and this clean hotel is as good as it gets. There is nothing wrong with it, but if you only stay at 4 or 5 star hotels,
