"Many people don't seem to like..." Singapore Off The Beaten Path Tip by Chichiri

Singapore Off The Beaten Path: 431 reviews and 571 photos

Many people don't seem to like to hike and admire the natural beauty of Singapore. Singapore, 'The Garden City', is quite unique because it is quite green and modern at the same time. Two places that you must hike is Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Sungei Buloh Nture Park. Bukit Timah Nature Reserve holds one of the world's richest and most diverse ecosystems, as well as Singapore's tallest hlil (which isn't that high). You can hike, bike and rock climbing there. If you're lucky, you may see some wild monkeys too! To know more about it visit it's website, www.nparks.gov.sg/nature/f_timah.htm>. Sungei Buloh Nature Park is a wetlad/mangrove reserve and a major sto-over for migrating flocks of birds. You can see a different kind of wild animals there such as the gila monster, monkey and interesting fish and birds. Visitors would enjoy a like the mangrove boardwalk. Their website is at www.sbnp.org>. But for both bring plenty of insect repellent, but it's surely worth the bite. :-)
