"The stars' real homes are not on maps." Top 5 Page for this destination Homes of the Stars Tip by Erin74

Homes of the Stars, Los Angeles: 12 reviews and 3 photos

You'll find "Maps to the Stars' Homes" being hawked roadside all over Los Angeles. DON'T be fooled. Brad Pitt's actual house is not on here. I've checked. When you buy one of these maps, what you generally end up with is a guide to the houses of some TV star from 1947 that you've never heard of. Oh, and that star is now dead, but he used to live here for 6 months in 1976. Seriously. Often all these houses are surrounded by 20 foot hedges, so all you'll see the the hedge of the forgotten star's former home. Not exciting.

Unique Suggestions: If you buy a map to the stars, just prepare to be frustrated with what you get.

Fun Alternatives: If you are really dying to search out celebrity homes, you can take a cheesy but more accurate tour, which starts in front of Mann's Chinese Theatre. Or, you're much more likely to see a star by lunching at The Ivy.
