  O'BRIEN'S TOWER
by eden_teuling

This O'BRIEN'S TOWER was built by Cornelius O'BRIEN in 1835 as an observation tower for the hundreds of visitors.

The tower was restored in 1970 and can once again be used as a wonderful viewingpoint, for the CLIFFS, the ARAN Island, the coast of CONNEMARA across Galway Bay and the CLARE COAST TO LOOP HEAD....

Souvenirs and crafts can be bought in the towershop.
The viewing area now has a nice TELESCOPE!
