"As close to a utopia as there is!" Canada Favorite Tip by surbon514

Favorite thing: Canada is a wonderful country. The people are progressive, liberal, and friendly. The places are fantastic, especially Montreal, where I now live. There's such diversity and tolerance as is rarely seen in the US. There's really nothing I don't like about Canada. If you are ever in Quebec City, you must go to the Chutes Montmorency, the highest falls in Canada. In summer I went with my school to see a fireworks display on the falls set to techno, it was absolutely breathtaking and shouldn't be missed.

Fondest memory: My best memory would be when I went to the Chutes Montmorency to see Canada's firework team compete with other countries. It was a huge gala, tens of thousands of people came, and it was exhilarating to be there, see the fireworks as we sang the national anthem.
A close second would be standing on top of Mont-Royal one balmy summer night and looking at the lights of 3.5 million people in the city below.
