Women beware. There are so many secluded beaches in Oz & it's so tempting to go to the quieter ones. I did - but there were a few weirdo's around watching the women etc. Granted there are life guards around during the summer months (our winter) but they warned me too - when I left the beach a car pulled up and a guy wanted to give me a lift so be careful - you're better off going to the popular spots....there are loads!!!!
