This beautiful church is also located in the Zamoskvoreche area, and was constructed in 1670-2. At that time, this area of Moscow was home to the Streltsy, or royal guard.

Although the exterior colour is a bit plainer than some of the other churches in this area, the church has some amazing sculpting on the gables and window frames. Its roof has five cupolas, including a central gilded one, and they are all topped with small crowns and crosses.

The church is open to the public, but we didn't make it inside this one.
