Geylang Serai: "Malay Cuisine as it was meant to be..." Geylang Serai Tip by coboo

Geylang Serai, Singapore: 2 reviews and 0 photos

We found Geylang Serai thanks to the folks at www.the-inncrowd.com --the food is amazing! Geyland Serai is basically a marketplace with stands including clothing and household goods, a `dry` market with dried foods and spices, a `wet` market with seafood, meats and veggies, a walkway with pre-prepared and fried foods and in the back a wonderful food-court with stall after stall of flavorful, interesting and cheap Malay foods.

Favorite Dish: Stall 200`s beef rendang and ayam korma, hands down. Plus a roti from the other end of the food market. Check out the inn crowd`s webpage for more info.

Address: East Geylang
Price Comparison: least expensive
Directions: Near Paya Lebar MRT station, walk east on Sims past the Malay Village, turn right at the end of the fence around the Malay Village and then left before the first building (#3) into the market.
