Finspång Things to Do: 10 reviews and 9 photos

The Forge was granted priviliges to produce iron in 1683 and continued production up until 1924. In 1990 it was declared a national memorial.

When it started it consisted of 1 hammer and two fires, it was later erected a factory, a waterplant, forges and furnaces that still stands today including the only remaining lilt hammer in Sweden weighing 700 kilos.
