Red Square - Saint Basil Cathedral, Moscow: 65 reviews and 132 photos
The cathedral contains eight chapels on two floors ~ and they all connected by a painted gallery that snakes around the outer rim of the building. The gallery was originally open-air; the roof wasn't added until the 17th century.
It's fairly easy to miss rooms, so we took the route slowly. You'll also come across what feels like half a dozen small gift shops ~ you aren't running in circles, there are at least three or four. :-)
