Kremlin - Church of the Deposition of the Robe, Moscow: 6 reviews and 11 photos
It's a tight fit to get up the staircase and inside (especially on a busier day, I imagine), but you should definitely not pass by this simple church.
The Church of the Deposition of the Robe is a small single-domed church, built in 1484-6 as the domestic church of the metropolitan. It's a simple, Russian-style building, with the traditional onion-shaped arches (ogee). The interior frescoes were painted in the 17th century and make the squeeze worthwhile.
