The Reformation Monument is located on the Reformation Wall which was erected from 1909 - 1917. The wall is 100 meters long and 10 meters high. It consists of a time line from 1536 through 1602 celebrating the main events and personalities of the protestant reformation. The center and largest sculpture is the Reformation Monument standing at the center of the wall. The monument pays tribute to four men who contributed to the Reformation: Guillaume Farel, Jean Calvin, Theodore de Beze and John Knox.
