Our luggage was in the "left luggage" lockers so we could make the afternoon train for York. We had time for lunch at the Waverly Mall. This was just like our indoor malls, three floors of shops, but their food court had traditional English/Scottish food. There were some interesting modern brass sculptors decorating the interior and the people watching was fun. Young mothers with strollers, talkative teenagers and the same clothing styles as the good old USA, no kilts.
We had been fortunate enough to see and hear a bagpiper in full dress serenading the crowd on Princess Street during our walking tour

The Market is, in actuality, a modern mall filled with fashionable shops..

Directions: Waverly Mall is at the east end of Princes St.,
