During the summer season Germans flock to the campgrounds along the coast. These are cheap, basic, and comfortable since the German way to camp is with a small motor home with amenities. In the evening you can see them sitting in the screen houses thet set up on their camping plots, playing cards and drinking beer by lamplight and it's all very cozy. If you are very well capitalized, the countryside is full of comfortable inns offering quaintness and efficiency. Many of them are former farmhouses, and quite lovely.
