  The Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild

The absolute highlight of my trip through the Provence : The villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Wow, what a beautiful place! It has it all, fantastic location, beautiful interiors, artwork, history and the most amazing gardens. I would move into this place right away if I could!!! :-)
The Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is located on the start of the peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. It was build by Beatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild in 1912, and it is the most amazing place. It is a villa, but also a museum at the same time. The villa houses so many masterpieces; it has beautiful furniture?s, tapestries, sculptures and classical and modern paintings. It is all too much to absorb in one visit, but wow, fantastic to see. I walked around the villa twice, hahaha, I just couldn?t get enough of it! The villa is also a gardener?s paradise. I love gardening, so I felt right at home here. You?ll be amazed by the way the gardens have been planned; it all fits so fantastic together. There is a French garden, Spanish, Italian, exotic and Japanese garden, and many more that I am forgetting to mention right now. It is a work of art by itself. As I loved the villa and its garden so much I made a lot of photos here. And I will show those and tell you much more about the villa on my Cap Ferrat page
