If you like unspoiled nature, Durrness is the place you should aim for while in Scotland. Not only for the northern satlement on Scotlands' main land itself but the whole area of West Ross and the north west cost.
Passing through Gairloch,Ullapool, Lochinver, through the Assybt Estate...up to Durness is a great adventure. There are some tourist attraction on the way: Inverewe garden, just north of Gailoch, Cape Wrath and Smoo Cave near Durrness.
