While your here stop for 5 minutes and take a look around you. Now stop again and realy take a look around, there is so much to see you could spend five years and still see something different the next time you come.

The beauty of any country scene is that it changes subtely through the years and the seasons. It has been a hot summer in England this year so at the time of writing (Oct 2003) the colours should be changing to crisp golden browns amongst the lush green pastures, the deep green pine forrests and the grey rocks.

Directions: This is an evening view of Lake Windermere at the view point just down from the Miller Howe Restaurant.
