  St John's Castle - Limerick
by Vintom

King John's castle in limerick has stood since around the year 1200. It is not the most pleasing castles i've ever seen, especially with the modern day alterations that have been added to it. None the less it houses a good exhibition on the history of Limerick. well worth a visit if you are in town. There is also a self guided walk around the outside of the castle where you follow some signs, then you are given information about the places you are standing at.

Address: King John's Castle -Nicholas st, Limerick
