The Rose & Raindrop: "Great food, best beer selection 19th century space" Portland Restaurant Tip by VirtualTom

Portland Restaurants: 348 reviews and 479 photos

Housed in a late 19th century building once build as the finest mortuary on the west coast. The seafood is very well priced, as iseverything else. The bar can get a little smokey on busy nights but the dining room is non-smoking. Banquet space for 6 - 40. The best 37 tap beer selection around (unless you insist on European beer. Good wine selection. Service is a little casual but always profesional.

Favorite Dish: The crawfish cakes are amazing. Light and spicey. Served with a red pepper remoulade. You can also get it stuffed in halibut (amazing!). You expect this food for 3 to 6 dollars more a plate.
