Emmaus: "Second hand" Haarzuilens Shopping Tip by ATLC

While walking around the little village, I noticed a lot of people going to and fro some place just outside the village. I followed some of them and stumbled across a terrain with various buildings all filled to the nook with second-hand ware.
Everything neatly sorted: a barn with furniture, a barn with clothes, with electrical applicances, books, kitchen ware, house decoration....

The organisation exists 39 years and is a live community of ex-homeless and people who want to live an alternative lifestyle. They sell second-hand ware to support themselves and also to support homeless and fugitives in The Netherlands and abroad.
Fourteen people live there in the age of 18 to 60 on a basis of strict equality.
