  Fraser Island

Queensland has an enormous wealth of natural attractions and boasts five World Heritage Areas.

Where Else but Queensland could you find World Heritage areas:
-Fraser Island, the world's largest sand island
-The Great Barrier Reef which runs 2000km up the Queensland coast
-Australia's Tropical Rainforests of Tropical North Queensland
-The Outback's Riversleigh Fossil Field
-And the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserve

Great Barrier Reef

The largest reef in the world stretches 2000km - it can even be seen from the Moon.
You can visit the Great Barrier Reef on a day cruise, by plane, stay on the reef (island or reef platform) or take a longer diving adventure.

Most regions in Queensland have access to magnificent rainforests. Take an exotic train ride through tropical rainforest, enjoy a bird's eye view from the Skyrail in Cairns, go white water rafting or experience the glory of rushing waterfalls on a bushwalking trail or 4WD day tour.

When exploring Queensland's reef and rainforest, take wildlife warnings seriously and do not swim in crocodile or marine stinger areas.
