This was a most enjoyable way to spend a sunny afternoon in Moscow and provided excellent views of the Kremlin, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Gorky Park and the giant statue of Peter the Great.

We picked the boat up at the Kiev Station landing (closest metro Kievskaya) and took it to the Novospassky Most landing where everyone else seemed to be getting off. There are 6 intermediate stops at Sparrow Hills (Moscow University), Frunzenskaya, Gorky Park, Krimean Most, Bolshoy Kamenny Most (Kremlin) and Ustinsky Most (Red Square).

They operate from around May-October. There is an open air deck and also an enclosed area. There appeared to be an area to get snacks but it didn't appear to be tended the day we went. To be on the safe side, bring your own beverages.

I can't find the boat receipt but I think the cost was modest, maybe 80 rubles per person? And I think the trip took about 2 hours.

Address: Start at Kiev Station landing
