  Palacio Episcopal
by micas_pt

Palacio Episcopal ( Episcopal Palace ) has an older side built in the 13th century and a "newer" dating from the 17th. The main fa?ade is Renaissance style (16th and 17th centuries).

On both sides of the door can be seen 2 medallions with figures and above this a frieze with the inscription "D. Garc?a de Garla?a, Obispo de Coria 1587" ( D. Garc?a de Garla?a, Coria's bishop ). In the taller side of the fa?ade there is the Galarza's shield, a heron with the inscription "Ave Maria".

Directions: To the left after Arco de la Estrella.
