Favorite thing: It is one of the daytrips, you will never forget, as it will take you back to WW II and to a very special place :
Terezin with it's walls and moats of the 18th century were used by A.Hitler to build a place, that he called "autonome Jewish Ghetto" - he even produced a movie with the title "Der Führer baut den Juden eine Stadt" ( "The Führer builds a town for the jews") .
And so he had a place to show to the delegations of the Red Cross, who came on inspections and found a "jewish town" with it's own orchestra, theatre, jewish newspaper, a barber shop etc.
